Abuse Mode

I ordered a tune online from allen nelson, i specified 80% torque management removed, but didnt say anything about abuse mode as the form didnt ask me, does anyone know if he disables it with his tunes? when i put it in first gear it will shift to second anyway once i get up to about 30, is that part of the abuse mode kicking in ?

No, I'm pretty sure all of the tuners will disable it as default. Abuse mode happens when it detects too much WOT mayhem. It will cut back engine timing and power.

Yes, it's very embarrassing I still have it on my tune. When I clean the tires at the strip, it boggs if I goose the throttle. I usually do 4 seconds of 5500~ RPM, then goose the throttle, and then this stuff kicks in and the engine starts bogging even at WOT. Oh well.
