New Muffler Help

I have read quite a few of the posts for new exhaust systems, but have not found exactly what I am looking for and could use some help.

 

I have an 07 GMT900 GMC Sierra Crew Cab 4X4 with the 4.8 engine. I would like to get some more sound out of it without going to a cat back system or spending a ton of $$. I was thinking of just buying a new muffler but i have a couple questions:

 

1. what is the exact dimmension (LXW)? I believe I have single in/out (maybe someone could verify what is stock)

2. will just changing the muffler void any warranty?

3. can I just change the muffler without making any other upgrade (ie air intake) - as I said, just looking to get some more sound out of her. Will this mess anything up with the computer??

 

Any help or input is appreciated.

 

By the way, added the Rough Country 2 inch leveling kit and looks awesome!!! Neighbor thought I had the 2500

check these, look under the truck to find out how many in/out holes you need i believe its 2 in and 1 out, and 2 1/2" pipe, check to make sure.

pick the one that fits the best

I believe yours is single in & out, length not sure, 24"s long maybe. The only way the muffler will hurt your warranty is muffler back will not be covered. your cats and everything else will be covered so no big deal. Yes you can just swap the muffler and run new tailpipes or fabricate it to the stock pipe. & nope, muffler doesn't affect the computer its just for sound volume.

 

I suggest a Flowmaster Super 44 those sound awesome
