Speed Sensor Replacement..any Tips?

Giving the local "parts changer" a break and since the instrument panel cluster (5 so far) Is not fixing my Speedo on my 04 Z71. I'm going after my speed sensors in my Transfer case. Going to take both out this weekend and spray them down with electric parts cleaner. If that don't do it will replace both with new. Has this worked for any one else? Any tips?

There is only one and on a 4x4 its in the transfer-case. If your having speedo trouble and have under 70000 mi its under warranty if its the cluster.

That is the problem Chevy has put in 5 different clusters and no fix. My speedo will still stay at zero or bounce around from what speed I'm doing to a lower speed or it will work fine and Chevy won't look for any other cause because only the cluster is under warranty. Only 1 sensor? you sure? My truck appears to have 2, one is on the top left of the transfer-case and the other is directly across from it on the top right?
