Shaun5155 Posted January 19, 2008 Posted January 19, 2008 just installed the gmpp cold air intake and it sounds great, it ever looks great too. its definetly worth the price. when accelerating it sounds like i have an exhaust. it has that low rumble sound to it that is freakin awesome. ill eventually take a pic of it
davo32683 Posted February 7, 2008 Posted February 7, 2008 Anybody getting any noticeable gains? Power or MPG?
alaska511 Posted February 7, 2008 Posted February 7, 2008 the one I ordered just arrived at the dealer on a stock order, can't wait to get it installed
alaska511 Posted February 7, 2008 Posted February 7, 2008 It's a dry type, no oil high flow paper ?? yes paper cone type
wlvrn1215 Posted February 7, 2008 Posted February 7, 2008 I wonder what the difference is between that and the stock paper element
y2kz71 Posted February 7, 2008 Posted February 7, 2008 the one I ordered just arrived at the dealer on a stock order, can't wait to get it installed Your gonna love it
omegafiler Posted February 7, 2008 Posted February 7, 2008 Yep, love mine. Sure does make the engine bay look a whole lot nicer. I wouldn't expect any drastic HP/TQ increases from any intake though, but perhaps just a bit. Also get improved throttle response and a nice growl from the engine.

Pure aesthetic reasons for me, that and the exhaust. I have been down this road many times, wish I had all my money back on the upgrades I have purchased for this reason
alaska511 Posted February 7, 2008 Posted February 7, 2008 I just picked it up at the dealer, I will take pics of it out of the box for those that were asking questions about the element, etc
davo32683 Posted February 8, 2008 Posted February 8, 2008 Those pics would be great. Is the filter washable? If not, what kind of dry filter would I need to get as a replacement?
