Silly Question; Fuel Tank Upgrade

Hi,

 

how much of a pain / cost would a larger fuel tank be?

 

I like the idea of a lot more range wih my truck. I have a 2007 GMC 4x4 e/c Classic with std box.

 

Is this worth the effort?

get an in the bed tank - same thing farmers/ranchers do in Texas

Those are for diesel only. Cant put gasoline in there, you would be carrying a bomb.

I think I saw some that "were approved" for gas transportation, I dont recall where. As JHM stated, be careful what you get...or what you'll become... You could get a fuel cell put in the bed.

Try this outfit. I put a 46 gallon replacement tank in my 2003 2500 GMC Duramax. It was the best money I spent. I would vote for NOT taking up valuable bed space with a bed tank.
