Another Major Gas Price Increase Predicted

Oh well, I decided a long time ago to not stress out over gas prices. I intend to drive my truck and my boat no differently due to gas prices. You only live once, and I REFUSE to alter or sacrifice the things I like to do because of high gas prices. Before you know it, we'll all be old and wonder why we let life pass us by because we "couldn't afford" gas. Screw that!!!

This smells of another speculation how to increase gas prices.

The downside is that truck sales will suffer as a result and manufacturers will be forced to take draconian measures to improve the fuel economy on vehicles which were never meant to be econoboxes.

In general, higher fuel costs will translate to higher prices on all consumable goods, higher costs of services, higher costs of shipping, and substantially higher costs for those with long commutes. Nothing good is going to come out of this. This country is way too dependednt on oil and gas prices affect the cost of absolutely everything.

Is amazing how when oil hit $100/barrel, gas jumped to like 3.15/g......now oil has been hovering around 90-92/barrel, and gas is still 3.05-3.15/g....WTF?

But, this is the situation we are in, when we elect a president who is rolling in oil. His family is friends with the oil controlling country of Saudi Arabi, and his family is in the oil bussiness. So, I'm sure everyone was shocked to hear that he dosen't have the average Americans interest first!!

I'm tired of everyone blaming this on bush, but I'm not going to get into it. As far as why the prices haven't gone down yet, there's a lot price gouging at all gas stations, especially in big cities a highly travelled/populated areas.

Well just gotta start paying up more..

So that $2 out of every $3 you pay for gas can go to Saudi Arabia or some other dumb a$$ country thats filled with people that are taught to hates us? If you need the truck for your business I really feel for you. The costs must be killing you. If all you're doing is driving back and forth to work, get a used econobox and park the gas guzzler until you need it.

Weaning ourselves off of the mideast tit is about the best thing we can do for this country.

Once bush is out of office gas prices will decline.

Wanna bet? I will wager a year's worth of fuel on that arrogant assumption. Not a huge Bush fan either, but to blame him is utterly ridiculous.

I dont know the exact conversion but arnt we already paying more that $4 a gallon here in Canada? And don't we have alot more local oil than the states?

Oh and the reason our gas prices are so high is mostly taxes isn't that right too? Not trying to sound sarcastic, just looking for verification on everything I've been told.
