As many of you know, I've been searching for a great deal on a NBS Sierra, 08 model year in particular. Well, the the dealership, we just did a dealer-trade with another dealer in Illinois; and here's the truck they traded to our store.

2008 Sierra, 4x4, extended cab, BLACK, gray cloth interior.

Here's the stuff, IMO, it is missing.

Remember, this just was a base-order SLE-1 pickup.

Has chrome steel wheels

Has no driver info center buttons

Has no center console

Has manual driver seat; no power seat

Has no steering radio controls.

Non-Z71 pickup, no remote start. manual A/C controls

Should I just wait it out, or pick this one up and add features??

I'd add driver info controls, steering controls, aluminum wheels, possibly a console, and to add remote start is abouit $150 according to our parts manager.

So, I'd be picking up a base-SLE1 model, and sticking around $800 in it to make it "acceptable" to my taste.

Buy it tonight ?? Or just wait ???

Buy it. Sounds like a nice truck. Only 800 to get it like you want.

I'd wait unless all those addons will be covered under warr. What about the Z71...they can add that too? Also are you sayin you can get all that done for 800?

If you do decide to go with that truck and do the addons yourself, get the dealer to swap the "chrome" rims for aluminums for no charge. They should have a few sets of takeoffs lying around somewhere. When i bought my truck, the dealer had 9 sets of em.
