OUMike Posted February 3, 2008 Posted February 3, 2008 Wow, I think a lot of us have really similar tastes. I grew up on Megadeth, Metallica, Iron Maiden, Primus but as I started getting older my tastes kinda went progressive. I got really interested in Rush, Queensryche and now Dream Theater (best band ever) and I just started listening to Marillion. But I actually love John Mayer, Lifehouse, Dave Matthews kinda stuff too. Especially when the gf is in my 'Rado. I've noticed I can't listen to heavy stuff that often while I'm driving on Houston's I-45. Makes me jumpy 762. Warrant - Cherry Pie (3:20) ...nice lol
ws6_guy Posted February 3, 2008 Posted February 3, 2008 i'm 75% a death metal head, some slipknot, Korn, Mudvayne, Cradle of Filth, Children of Bodom... I also enjoy some classic rock, nothing better than driving country side on a empty road with some good classic stuff going. I hate rap but I can stand some country
Zembonez Posted February 3, 2008 Posted February 3, 2008 Jazz, Blues, some Rock... Not really fond of Country. I can only take so many songs about getting drunk and losing my old lady... Insane Clown Posse, Johnny Lang, Al Dimeola, Albert Collins, Joe Bonamassa, JJ Cale, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Ernest Ranglin, Pink Floyd, Willie Nelson, Norah Jones, Dave Brubeck, Pat Metheny, Gary Moore, Peter Green, Nina Simone, Kenny Wayne Sheppard, Al Green, Dire Straits, Plus some Clapton, Coltrane, Eagles and assorted Classical offerings that nobody in here wants to read about.
General Lee 01 Posted February 3, 2008 Posted February 3, 2008 JJ Cale You've got some class to ya after all Jim. Easy come, Easy go, anyway the wind blows
