Or you can do both, which is what I have. So far so good easy to clean.

The only complaint I have had about the wheel well liners is that they rattle a little bit, when you're going over bumps. Aside from that, I haven't had any issues with them.. at least not yet.

So, did you spray the inside of the fenders and then install the wheel well liners or did you spray the liners?

Sprayed the inside of the wheel wells first, then let that setup for a bit, then put the liners on. I figured I wanted protection behind them so I didn't have to worry about salt getting up in there and hanging out behind them eating away.

I'd trust the spray more than the liners
