Stealth Gray/blue Granite Are They The Same?

Recommended Posts

Hello all, New to the forum. I just bought a new '08 Silverado 1500 extended cab LT1 with a 5.3,3.73's, and the power pack option. I absolutley love this truck. The ride and drive is waaayyy better than my old '95. I ordered it in blue granite with ebony interior.

Just curious if the GMC steath gray is the exact same color?

I've looked very closely at the pictures in the brochures and I can't seem to tell much of a difference. I don't know why they would change the name of the color though.

Same reason they call my color "Steel Gray" and on a Chevy it's "Graystone Mettalic" and they are identical colors.

That's odd. I just looked at a chevy and a gmc brochure and about half of the colors have different names and the other half kept the same name.

hhhmmm. oh well. I just add this to a long growing list of things i don't understand.

btw: nice wheels vmax2007

see if you can find the color codes perhaps on window stickers...if they are the same, they are the same...I had a 1999 Pontiac Bonneville in Galaxy Silver Metallic and a Corvette in Quicksilver...they had the same paint codes...GM (and I suspect others) have had different names for the same colored paints on their vehicles forever...
