Has anyone replaced tweeters in their NBS? I am putting in a set of Alpine Type R component speakers and am wondering how much space there is in the pillar.

I'm running Boston Neo Type-S tweeters with the Xovers in the doors. Only had to do a little trimming to make them fit. Much crisper than factory.

The door drivers are still stock but not for long.

Did you put the tweeters in the stock location? Where on the door did you put the xover? Is the wire running up to the pillar from the door already? Thanks.

I used the stock location in the pillar. The Xover is in the very front of the door shell at the top. I used double sided tape and attached it to the front flat part of the shell so as not to interfere with the window and keep it dry.It wasn't really too hard. I did have to fish wires from the pillar to the existing door speaker. I had to grind off the outer lip on the tweeters to make them fit so hopefully there won't ever be a warranty issue!
