Anyone know how to replace light bulbs in driver's side armrest window switches. '00 silverado.

Hey Ken, I have the same problem with my 01 Z71. Since no one seems to know the answer I took it upon myself to take out the switches. Putting it on the workbench I found 6 tabs that separate the halves in order to access the interior. Not wishing to break anything I tried for 20 minutes to open it. I gusess that the only solution is to buy a replacement or go to the local salvage yard. Good luck. (I guess I need to call the dealer's service dept)

yeah I believe the easiest thing to do is replace the switch. The bulbs are solderd to the switchboard, not to mention theh are no bigger than the tip of a ball point pen or so that is how it was in my 05 when I had it.

yep, agreed, the only thing to do is replace, back in the 70's gm used fiber optics with several small bulbs along the way to light switches, but since then its a swap.
