Driver Information Center Problem

I recently bought an 03 suburban 1500 LT with the DIC option. The DIC will not respond to any of the steering wheel buttons. It shows the gear selection, responds to open doors, driver memory buttons, everything except the buttons on the wheel. I can't get a response from any of the 4 buttons. Is there a fuse buried somewhere that I might have missed? Is it a program issue? Any thoughts? I really appreciate any input you may have.

Most likely the switches are bad. I see also of claims for bad steering wheel switches

Thanks for the info Jonesy! Much appreciated. Hopefully my local dealer can get them. I do see a few posts regarding inoperative switches.... I also see a post saying I don't really need to pull the wheel to change them. Hope so!

Well I replaced the trip/fuel economy switch on the wheel with no result. My local dealer only had one in stock, I replaced it, and still have no response from the switch. FYI, you do NOT need to pull the steering wheel to change these buttons. Once you remove the air bag you can change the switch with just a set of skinny needlenose pliers. In any case, I'm gonna try a re-program at my local dealer. Hopefully that solves the problem. If anyone has any other input please let me know. Thanks
