Jump Seat Console Lid Removal ?

Is it possible too replace just the lid to the console? I am a big man when I get in the truck I put too much weight on the console too adjust myself in the seat. Anyway first the cover cracked then today it broke. I not looking too replace the whole cushion just the lid of it. If it is possible any help would be greatly appreciated.

you talking about the little black section in the middle of the surrounding cushion?

 

If you are talking about that, I dont believe you can simply replace it, I think you would have to buy the whole lid from a junkyard or something as GM does not sell the individual lid (according to rich) unless something has changed

Sorry......your outta luck ! Gm does NOT sell just the lid only the whole console

assembly at $450 a pop! I had 2 replaced under warranty.

 

A salvage yard is your best bet!
