Upgrade 4x4 To Z71 4x4

Hey guys,

 

Just wondering if there is a way to upgrade my 4x4 into a Z71 4x4.

 

I've already got the trailering package, which I think includes the same shocks as the Z71.

Think you just need the Skid Plates, the Larger shocks, the front Jounce bumpers (Goofy little rubber things on the A-arms) and the sticker on the bed.

If your off the pavement alot its not really worth getting all of the components needed. I say just get the rear decals if you want the look, but its only larger shocks & the jounces, & I could be wrong but all Z71s may have the G80

I definately wouldn't get the decals. :lol: Just get some bilstein shocks and call it a day. It'll be just as good if not better (since ya got the bilsteins), than any other 4x4 truck with or without a Z71 sticker.

Geeze, if that's it I'll just stick with the 4x4 and buy some Z71 stickers. My truck has a real nice ride to it (everyone compliments how nice it rides) so I dont think I'd want to ruin that with some new shocks.

 

I can just buy those funny stickers straight from the dealer, no?

Wanted to upgrade my truck to a Z71 - but realised that there isn't much difference.

 

 

Are you sure you have the right wheels? I thought those style wheels "only" come on Z71's. Maybe its only the 18's that are exclusive to the Z71 package. Heck i don't know..

 

 

Yeah, the 18's are exclusive to the Z71 package, but you can always just order them from the dealership anyways. A buddy's truck has them and its not a Z71.

Maybe I should just get Harley Davidson stickers and say its a new type of motorcycle. :cool:

If ya really want some stickers, I'd try to find some cool "Off-road" or similar decal. Something, "unique." :flag:

Definitely don't add the stickers. If you have 4X4 on there already, peel 'em off. These trucks look much better without some cheap vinyl slapped on the back. Hell, half the time I see them they aren't even on straight.

Ehh...that's just a matter of opinion buddy. I like the Z71 stickers :lol: And the 18" Z71 alloys as well!
