Corsa Sport Exhaust W/ Resonator (6.0l)

I've been messing around with my Corsa Sport exhaust to quiet it down a bit and help get rid of some drone around 2k RPM. There isn't a whole lot of room for a resonator, so we put one towards the side as you can see in the pic below (took with phone).

 

 

It's rather small and I think it came from a Chrysler, so it doesn't make a huge difference. But it does cut back the volume by about 2-3db or so at WOT. It also smooths out the exhaust tone and reduces some of that high-pitch raspiness. I like it.

 

And since I was bored today, I decided to go for a drive with the camcorder and get some audio while driving. You'll have to excuse the crappy editing, squeaking from the tri-pod hitting the seats, the wind noise, and for YouTube killing the audio quality.

Yeah, it's definately not very loud when cruising around, just about stock. Especially when compared to the Magnaflow I had awhile ago. Never got audio clips of that system - it didn't stick around long enough. But I did just edit the original post with a new link to the video. Had to upload a newer modified version with an extra clip I left out.

I'VE GOT THE SAME PROBLEM ON MY DENALI. I'VE GOT A MAGNAFLOW AND THE DRONE ABOVE 2K RPM IS BECOMING UNBEARABLE. IS THE CORSA THAT MUCH QUIETER? I'M PROBABLY GOING TO GO WITH THE TOURING VERSION BUT I HATE TO WASTE THE CASH IF IT ISN'T ANY QUIETER IN THE CAB. - THANKS

The Corsa sport is way quieter than even the longest Magnaflow (22"). But if you're rather picky about drone, go with the Touring.
