Ses Light And Code 1416

So My SES light came on and I took it to the dealer to check. They told me the error code was 1416 (right side smog sensor. Then the service manager tells me it is either the sensor (a couple of hundred bucks) or the smog pump (six hundred bucks). Does this sound locicla to you guys? Vehicle is an '01 Yukon with 68K. I just don't want to betting the shaft.

P1416 is a bad air check valve on bank 2. Bank 2 is the passenger side. I had the same problem a few years ago. Had it fixed at the dealership under warranty. good luck.
