Anyone know if a SIR GM3 will ever be available to convert the 07-08 Nav units to sirius???

I called Directed last week. They are supposed to be the ones manufacturing it. The guy I spoke with knew less about it than I did. After I explained to him that his employer was mentioned in several articles about this product, that were published late last summer, he finally looked. It is in their product list, but with no date for release. He suggested I contact Sirius to see if they knew anything.

 

So I called Sirius as well. They knew nothing.

 

My guess is when he11 freezes over, the end of the World according to the Mayan calendar comes to fruition in the year 2012, or when monkeys fly out of the sphynctors of pigs.

No change in status. It's still not available. It's been put off several times since it was announced. Last report was it was "maybe" going to be available the last quarter of 2008. Well, that's now come and gone. Personally, I think it's a dead product.
