Steerinig Wheel Controls Question

I recently installed a new clockspring and steering wheel into my 2003 Silverado that didn't come with it originally and after i got everything back together the light for the contact theft alarm is on steady when you start the truck. When you set the alarm it works like its suppose to, i have rechecked all my connections and everything seems to be in the right spot, and i only have one connector left over which im sure is for the steering wheel speed sensor for the quadrasteer which mine doesnt have.

 

I still need to get the BCM reprogrammed to turn on the buttons, so they do more than light up at night.

 

Anybody got any ideas if this theft light will clear up on its own once the BCM gets reprogrammed, or do i need to take it back apart and look for a problem else where?
