Better Acceleration

just been wondering, I know the trans seems to hold the gear longer in 3, and it doesnt go into overdrive as quickly. Which one gives you better performance when you want to leave a stop sign quickly? Thanks for any info. Hope this doesnt seem like a silly question.

Yeah. Just keep it in D and work on your launch technique - especially if you have a lot of HP and traction issues.

eather is the same but having two/haul turned on gives you a little better shifting on a stock tranny.

i was told that putting trans into manual '1' applies more pressure, hence less slippage and quicker acceleration, can`t remember who told me that, i`ll have to maybe do a test and see, a little 0-60 times (: ?

I just do tow haul in drive, and my hypertech is tuned for firm shifts and raised speed shifts. I have no problem smoking off dodges and fords
