Need Help With Tint For Nnbs

Having my Bedliner Linex'd tomorrow and then the front windows tinted to match the rear. What tint should I go with? What matches the best? Do I need to do anything with the rear tint?

the tint guy should know whats best.....i did my front driver and passenger windows at 18% and its a very close match

A lot of places offer a 20% film, which I believe closely matches the rear windows.

yeah, my tint guy said 20% to match the rears. I went with 35% though because thats whats legal for the fronts here in MO (although my wifes 4 door mystique has all of them at 20% and has never had a problem with the popo's). Doesn't look too bad with the rest being tinted, just a slight bit lighter

I will go with the 20% as I have never had any problems with my Maxima here in Kansas city. Thanks for all the advice though guys.

I think i've heard that it's 17%. Anything from 15%-20% should look pretty close.

I have 20% on my two front windows of my 07 NBS. The only thing is that I went and tinted the back windows with 35% over factory. I like having the back a little darker than the front. But before I tinted the back, I looked at the windows and it was pretty close. But I still went ahead and did the rear windows that afternoon.

I got 20% on the front and it matches the rear perfectly when I had stock tint in the rears. I got 5% tint on the rear and it awesome. Soon, I'm going to install 5% tint on the fronts.

Mine is 15%. It will be going back again for the fourth time because they keep getting little specks in it. The last time I got the owner to look at it and he said that it was calcium deposits. He said they bought some filtration system to fix the problem which it did with the exception of having a couple of hairs in it this time that look like crap.

Do you guys ever get in trouble with the police using the film on the side windows? My one friend is a cop and he always gave us a hard time because he said its prevents the window from shattering, so it could fold down and cut you in half.

That is definitely a load of CRAP. Whether it is smoked on, film or even built into the glass beyond a particular point it is illegal. Supposedly Louisiana is gonna crack down on tinting, b/c it hides what people are doing inside making it unsafe for officers. But its all due to a particular light transmission.
