Just Got Line-x And It's Perfect Except...

I just got Line-X sprayed. I love it! They did a perfect over the rails job and I'm extremely impressed so far. However, before I took it in, the lock in the tailgate was very easy to lock and unlock. Now it's very hard to lock, but still easy to unlock. I suspect it might have something to do with the 3 bolts on the back of the gate, since they had to be taken out before sprayed, then put back in. This would mean they were not screwed in as far as they were due to the thickness of the Line-X. Another theory is something got messed inside when they took the bolts out and didn't re-assembly properly. My other theory depends on how the lock works: if the lock doesn't just lock the handle but actually move poles into the rest of the bed as an extra layer of locking, then perhaps something got gummed up where the poles insert into (if it works that way.)

 

Anyone have any idea about what may be causing it and how to fix? I was thinking maybe replacing the bolts with slightly longer bolts might fix it? Anyone else have this problem?
