Lucas Oil Fuel Treatment

With the price of gas going up all the time I'm trying to find ways to save a few gallons. It seems like whenever I run Lucas or STP fuel treatment my mileage goes up a little. I usually just run a bottle thru about every few thousand miles. I'm going to try and start running it with every tank and do a experiment with and without fuel treatment and see if there is any real difference or not. Question is, is allright to run fuel treatment all the time? I assume it is, but I was just curious. I figure on a full tank it would be cheaper to run a bottle of fuel treatment than run premium which is $0.30/gal higher than regular.

Preimum around here is 20 cents per gallon more. With my 19 gallon fuel tank that only seems to hold 14 useable gallons that's only $2.80 per tank. I can't find any fuel treatment for that cheap. Have you tried running premium for 6 tanks or so to see if your mpg goes up?
