Steering Wheel Controls

Hello everyone. I was wondering how I need to go about removing the radio controls from the steering wheel? One of the lights went out..

i got 2 out myself i ask my gm technican and he said unhook the battery cables for about 10 (IMO i would do 30 for good measure) that way that air bad won't deploy and then look in the middle of the horn and behind it and ull c two little holes one on each side and take two objects to stick in there and wiggle it till the airbag comes loose...i ain't done mine yet but that is what he told me to do

That sounds a little more involved than what I expected. A friend has a 2005 Tahoe and we were wondering since he has issues with his lights going out all of the time.
