Silverado Pcv Valve

I have a 2004 silverado 2500 - 6 litre. Went to change the pcv valve and could not remove pcv valve from valve cover. No rubber grommet and it looks like it is pressed into valve cover. How do you change the pcv valve or is it now an unserviceable item. If so anybody know why?

2004 & up are fixed orifice and part of the valve cover. There is no maintenance required other than inspecting the hose.
