What Would You Do With $5500?

I have a 2004 Gmc sierra black, ext. cab, slt and delta 40s flowmasters 1 in 2 dumped. other than that stock. my question is yall would do performance wise.

if you really want to spend it i would decide what you are looking out of the truck to begin with. a guy on base with me put a turbo kit on his silverado (after an ls1 swap) and he is pushing down close to 600 at the wheels...but he also has 3.73 gears, a built auto tranny with high stall converter, etc...another option is to stay N/A and get a good port/polish job and put a decent cam and gears in it (3.73 or lower/higher numerically) and it would make a big difference (that should be under $3000) you would have to build up the tranny no matter which route you take really

Personally I'd buy rims with $5500.00 but for performance here is a list of companys.

I would buy a small used 40mpg car to drive during the week to work and keep my truck miles low and save money while driving it on the weekend.......or as stated above, stick it in a ROTH IRA.
