When i switched out the clock spring, the harness that plugs into the rear still only had 2 wires. I don't think this will work unless that harness is changed as well. I will post pics soon. I still installed the clock spring anyway.

Any new info on this topic? I already had new steering wheel with cruise and radio controls on order when I read this. Installed steering wheel anyway. Radio controls work perfect. Now just need to get it programmed for the cruise to work. Any aftermarket options available that anyone knows of?

So if I want to add the navigation radio or backup camera I'm screwed?

For the navigation radio gm offers it as a kit, so you can add that option..... as for the back up camera I'm not sure.

I have a leather wrapped 07 08 09 steering wheel with cruise for sale on ebay right now. The starting price is $50. Excellent condition. Item number: 280306393481. Thanks

no new news and still no cruise...... Have the clock spring and wheel, but have to find the harness to go from the end of the new clock spring connection to the computer or throttle body switch (havent tracked it down) then see if the aftermarket programing (like blackbear) has cracked the codes in the BCM for the cruise. It looks like only W/T reg cabs have this problem as the ext cabs look to already have the wiring. Just follow the harness out of the steering wheel to the connection near the drivers kick pannel and see number of wires to pigtail. I will try to post pics later.
