id say its possible for more power, but youll need a tuner to get it.

It is going to put more air into the engine, so I say it would probably help. But I agree, the most gains will be felt in conjunction with a tune and an exhaust.

It looks similar to the systems on the W30 and W31 Olds's in the late 60's and early 70's except the intakes on them were mounted under the bumper. It was supposed to improve performance on them and GM put it on the cars so there must something to it

I may take you up on this Steve and give it a try over my GMPP cold-air intake system.

How tough is it to install? Can you post the installation instructions,or a link to them?

And does it work well with the Hypertech Max-Energy programmer?
