Manual Trans

is it just me or is gm deletin the manual trans from thier full size trucks? i would really like to have a new 4x4 with a 5-speed. is this ever gonna happen or are they done with the manual trans?

I do not know about the future. I do know right now it is not an option, or at least that is what the dealer told me. I would like to have a half ton v8 4x4 5speed. I had a 99nbs and a 2000 both were 5speed v8 4x4. The 99 was a piece. I loved the 2000 but it had almost 200K when I sold it. I do not like the automatic transmissions that GM offers other than the Ally. And that is only available in the Diesel now I think. I do not think f-rd offers a 5speed. D-dge is the only american half ton with a manual-6speed.Maybe someone will chime in that has future info. I would like to know as well.
