Another Golf Joke

I am not a golfer so I apologize for in incorrect terminology. This may be an oldie as well but it cannot hurt anything.

Two good friends were playing 18 holes one day and about the 6th hole they began being held up by two ladies ahead of them. The two ladies were obviously not experienced and were moving very slow around the course. This continued on until the 10th hole and finally one of the guys told the other "wait here, I am going to ask them if we can play through". He makes the 150 yard hike up the fairway and gets within about 50 yards takes an about face and quick steps it back to his buddy. His buddy asked him what is wrong. He says in a very nervous voice "that is my Wife and my girlfriend playing golf together". His buddy laughs this off and tells him he will go up and ask if they can play through. About 50 yards away from the ladies, he turns on his heels as well and rushes back. His buddy then asked him what is going on.

He said "It is a small world isn't it".
