Remove The Onstar Fuse

This is not going to be a debate about privacy, Feds, "They are listening", "It came with OnStar, so you should use it", etc...

 

1. Will my XM still work?

 

2. Will the truck start, run and drive??

 

I've found a dedicated fuse that powers up OnStar...what exactly will happen if it is removed?

 

Would OnStar actually know THEIR system, in MY PERSONAL VEHICLE, has been disabled??

 

(exactly the point of this...I truly don't need somebody else's crap in my truck...)

 

Any info?? Truck is a 2008 Sierra Ext Cab
