Speaker To Rca Converters?

So with my 08 Silverado, im keeping the stock unit, happy enough with it. Just adding the amp for subs. I was going to use a pac sni35 and tap off the rears. Or i found out pac has the PAC AOEM-GM1416 which is a plug adapter behind the radio with rcas and a turnon you just plug and play. The sni35 is 15 bucks versus 50 for the plug and play one? Anyone use the plug and play one, any issues?

I used the PAC AOEM-GM1416 to get an RCA feed for my front and rear speakers. It has a level adjustment pot for each channel so you can match the levels to your amp. I didn't have any trouble installing it and it works well.

The sub amp was fed using speaker level inputs directly from the output of the Bose amp in the center console. I just tapped off the speaker leads.

Do note, though, that the "amp turn-on" signal doesn't necessarily come on and off with the radio. It will always be on when the radio is on, but can stay on long after you turn off the radio. I think it may actually be connected to the "retained accessory power" circuit. It's not a big deal. Just know that it won't function like you're used to.

I don't know of any better interface so I'd recommend it.
