Lower Ball Joint?

Recommended Posts

hey all, well after replacing the wheel hub on the pass side(which i had to remove the sterring knuckles to get the fer out). I have replace the upper ball joint(pressed in). and in process of doing the bottom one(riveted in). I used a cut-off tool to put a cross in each rivet...then used air hammer to chisel off the heads. But now i can not get the damn rivets to just pop out...i have used airhammer with the point tip, a center punch and they will no budge...I know i have all of the head removed since if i hit the old bal joing i can see a circle all around where the rivet shafts are at. do i just keep beating on this damn thing till there out, or is there another approach that i can take?

Thanks...
