It might be. Suicide knobs are usually only aloud when the person has a prescription and only that person uses it.

well it's a personal preference that has grown on me because EVERY one of the farm tractors and trucks has it at our farm..... I love them.

I'm just curious... Why do you want one of these? I mean, is there a purpose or "just because"?

I thought these went out way back in the 50s or 60s. I didn't even now you could still buy one.

It is more comfortable for me to use one hand in my truck so I want one of these to satisfy one hand in doing two hands' work...... Now do you see? It is silly, but why not?

Yeah, I guess so... The few things I've found about them indicate that they're not legal. But, I haven't found anything specific to them being illegal in Alabama. Just keep something handy to remove it, if you ever get stopped and a cop harasses you..

Hehe well tenemos una problema, that one in particular is racheted down on the steering wheel....so yeah, I guess I would have to do something about that.
