The 4L60E will bolt on fine to the LQ4 or LQ9 but it will not last; build it up. Avoid the 80E unless you are making serious power because it will sap too much horses.

keep the torque management down in gear and the 4l60 will last you a while with the 6.0. everything, computer, tranny, wiring, driveshafts, motor mounts, etc are the same. the difference between the 4.8 v8 and the 6.0 v8 are in the crank, pistons, and heads
