Hub Bolts! What The Hell?

Anybody got any suggestions on how to remove the hub bolts? ( four -15mm bolts on back of hub) I have to change the rotors out in my K3500, and I did not expect the hub bolts to hold me up! What the hell did GM do to get these so tight? I have an impact gun that puts out 1200 ft.lbs of torque, it won't budge it! And Why do I have to disassemble the hub to remove my rotors? What ever happened to simple?

By the way, I have used all the leverage I can get my hands on.

I replaced my hubs last year. Had to use some heat, just a little, from map torch. Got them off.

I will try the heat from the map torch after I remove the residue of about a gallon of PB Blaster. man, I am trying everything. my biggest fear is that I will damage the head of the bolts. One question, When I apply the heat, would it be best to heat the area around the bolt heads as opposed to the bolts themselves? I understand the laws of science here when heat is applied to metal, it expands, but I want the metal around the bolts to expand, not the bolts, right?

I finally got my bolts loose with a larger breaker bar. I had to find one that I could slide over the open end of a boxed end wrench. the bar was almost 4 feet long, and the truck was about 20" off the ground so that I could manuver the damn thing. I think that is just silly to have bolts that tight! I want to thank all of you for your input and support through this trying time.

That's sick, that a bolt would be that tight.

IMO, I'd rather have something too tight than too loose. If they were able to come out with little effort people would complain that they were not tight enough...that's just the way us humans are.
