I think I'll be the typical American consumer and put my rebate on this month's mortgage payment.

That's what everybody else is doing...Right?

I think I'm gonna put mine in the bank so I can pay it back at tax time. Nothing is ever free.

Well bush wants you to spend it on gas so you can get to work to pay more taxes. hell it's a win win for him. the govt gets more taxes and bush makes money on the oil you use to put in your tank. what a jerk...

I wonder if we will have to claim this as income?

Let's keep the political bashing to ourselves please.

Hey Jim...I'm thinking of buying an SVS sub for the home theater setup as my main sub (moving the Klipsch 12 incher to the rear for secondary duties)...Ever listened to one?

Coincidentally...The one I want is around $600 shipped to my door :smash:

Why don't you start a "do not cash your tax rebate check" campaign by just tearing up your check and not spending it. Then he will not benefit and that will teach that evil Bush!

that is not the point, he put this country in debt 19 trillion dollars and is doing nothing about fuel prices like he can. the reserves are at a all time high. everything is going up becouse of it. go try to buy some rice. you will only get 5 bags from sams club and the other wholsalers. That is just one thing. Why is diesel higher than gas when it is a bi product of gas? shall i go on?

I've got a Denon 3806 (same one as Zembonez I think  ) and all Klipsch speakers. But I think my hearing is on the decline...I don't think it's loud enough any more. So I'm thinking of adding a sub, and running a separate amp to the speakers instead of amping them off the receiver.

I also need to upgrade my TV. The old DLP doesn't QUITE fill my cabinet up perfectly, and you know...In the HT realm, it's all about being accurate. ;)I need 6" more screen diagonally

ya we just got a 42 LCD andit isn't big enough allready lol, so guess what got to get another as soon as we move i want to go 60" but we will see.... ya just put a sub in front of you and behind you.... that will get your best sound effect......there is energy tower speakers in the basement they are all right i have heard better, but that setup bounces all the jerseys and signs hanging on the wall.....

My 12" Klipsch makes the glass in my front and rear doors rattle and will shake stuff off the coffee table over time. It's loud.

But it's not SVS loud or SVS cool.

well i don't know how many watts the receiver is but sometimes it will shake stuff upstairs.... i just can't wait to get in a different house and swap the systems around and get more or better speakers for the one downstairs

The county's debt is irrelevant to fuel prices. I do think that Iraq should start paying the bills, maybe with oil. The president can't do much about fuel prices in a free market society, if he did things would only get worse. The reserves are for emergencies and shortages which there is not. Even if reserves were used, it would be minor temporary relief. The US is buying crude that other countries like China and India have new hungers for which are driving the prices up. The US is not the only major market to sell to anymore. The price of rice is high becouse farmers are growing more corn (becouse it sells for more) than other things for ethanol which is all part of Gore and the "save the planet" crew's plan. I am not real sure about the diesel thing, but I bet it has something to do with the new low-sulfer restrictions which would cost more to produce and could also be blamed on Gore and his disciples.

I think everyone feels your pain. Every action has a reaction, in politics and economics you have to careful what you wish for. Too much government is never a good thing.

well just because it is bigger don't mean better it still hase the same components in it as the other one, it is just in a round shape.. you can do that with the setup you have now just make a new box for it..... it is just like any sub you have to have the right amount of volume in the box for the size of the speaker
