Diff's And Transfercase Capacities

Recommended Posts

I've searched the forums but just want to make sure I'm going to get the correct fluid amounts.

front differential: 2 quarts

rear differential: 3 quarts

transfer case: 2 quarts

I'm planning on going with Royal Purple Max Gear 75W90 for the diff's and Synchromax for the transfercase.

Can double check those capacities for me and set my mind at ease, thanks

BTW...DO NOT use anything but the GM AutotrakII fluid in the transfer case if thats the one you have.

forgive my ignorance, but how do I know if I have Autotrak. I've got the Z71 package.

does the auto 4 wheel make it an autotrak?

My dash looks like this:

auto 4 wheel

2 high

4 high

4 low

Thank you very much for your help
