When you're washing your truck, use either 0000 steel wool or Bon Ami scouring powder. Don't use any other brand but Bon Ami because others can contain pumice and that will scratch the hell out of your windshield.

I also heard pouring Coca-Cola on the windshield will strip it off.

So.... you got confused and drank the Bon Ami and poured the Coke on the windshield.:lol: .

Yep, that WILL kinda mess up your stomach. :D:D

Don't put Rain-x on your front windshield, it will make your wipers chatter. Use it only on side and back windows, and apply sparingly. You can use the rain-x windshield wash which works pretty well, and keeps your wipers ok. I would use autoglym glass polish to take it off.

I've never used rain-x on the windshield, but I do use the rain-x windshield washer fluid which does work well IMO. Good luck getting it off.

Golly Jared, I hope those weren't your last words, it's been 15 hours since your OP.

Ha! No I am still alive and kicking, just wrote it on my way out last night. They could have been my last words though, last night was pretty crazy, in fact, I dont think I am quite sober now! Oh well

Thanks for all the replies, I just got new wipers, and didnt want to put them on till I got the rain-x off. I find it smears in a sense, after you wipe the window. It takes a long time to clear, expecially in the winter. Maybe putting the new wipers on will help, who knows?

Uggg, I gotta go back to bed............:lol: later guys
