Well, I did read it Jeff. I'm kind of at a loss for words. I do agree that GM needs to downsize some of their makes, but which one. I think maybe the Hummer and Saturn. I do think it's just a matter of time that Pontiac will be a thing of the past, along with Buick. Their sales have not been that good. It's just sad, and I've said it before, it is all cooperate greed.

I don't see Pontiac going under or Saturn either. Both companies will probably do well this year because of their new models.

I read it... then I read it again. I can't quite get past the "Anti-American manufacturer" slant.

 

It seems like every writer that gets posted these days has to make American manufacturers out to be somehow stupid enough that they don't know how to fix their own issues without the help of the self appointed writer-superhero. Why is it that every "writer" thinks they have the answers to every problem the auto makers face when the auto makers themselves spend millions on research and study groups trying to come up with the answers?

 

It's easy to write a column stating that you know how to "fix" anything... Much harder to actually pull it off.
