The wife has always hated guns. She never had a fear of guns, just no interest, "guns are stupid....blah blah blah." Well, after five years of marriage i finally convinced her to shoot the rifle on Saturday. And to both of our surprise - she liked it! So much that she wanted to do it again on Sunday! She's pretty good too. At 100 yards she was consistantly shooting 3" groups. (keep in mind that this was the very first time she ever shot a firearm). I wish I'd saved the targets, but here is a picture of her as proof. She may not have proper form, but who gives a sh!t?!!?

Next time I'll try to get the Glock 23 in her hands.

Women usually are much better shots than men.

Oh and how she must like shooting....like the giddy leg in the air kiss....same with the rifle. Probably a good thing she wasn't shooting an M82 (Barrett 50BMG) or we would be seeing some XXXXXXX-rated pictures of her with that rifle.

One with proper training, maybe. At my unit there's a few women whom take all day at the range to qualify with the M16A2, I think to qualify you need to hit 22/40. I zero in 6 shots and cant get out of the grove of 32/40 targets, the past 4 qualifications I've got 32/40. I only shoot twice a year too My good friend has 2 AR-15's, ones a semi auto M16 variant and the other is the M4 Variant. He's active Army so I don't see him much, and when I do were drinking Vodka, I don't shoot as much as I used to, which wasn't much anyways.

Thinking about that, theres a few guys at the unit who take all day to qualify too, so I guess my argument is void

100 yards?

Piffle.

As a Marine...We warmed up at 200. Then went to 300. Then 500. And not with a pansy-a$$ed scope either. That's the peep sights that come on the M16A2.

/never shot less than expert rifle and pistol for 11 years

I remember when my ole' lady beat my ass with one of those damn big wooden spoons that everybody's grandma used to have hanging on the wall. To my surprise, she was waiting up for me when some one told her that I was in a strip joint. You know you've been hit with something when one of those oak spoons crack you in the back of the head. I thought the b*tch was going to kill me.

Wife: Oh I'll give you your nothing happened alright. Won't be doing anything for the next few WEEKS!!

It's a .17HMR Marlin rifle with a no-name 10X scope. I don't think it would be much good after 100yards anyway. It is a lot of fun anyway.
