Vortech 350 To 95 454 Engine Swap

I've got a '97 k1500 with the vortech 5.7. I've also got a 95 3500 with the non- vortech 454. with the vortech engine, i have all of the electronic garbage that i dont have on the 454 such as mass airflow sensor etc. I want to swap the 454 into the 1997, but dont know exactly what i need to do. do i just have to pony up for a new computer and wiring harness, or can i just simply put a vortech intake off of a newer 454 on it and bolt it up. the 97 has a 4l60e trans in it

I dont know about the engine but I do know that 454 will rip that 4L60 to shreds unless you get it built with performance parts to toughen it up. Try this website ,they are pretty knowledgeble about stuff like this. www.fullsizechevy.com
