2002 Escalade 4wd Model

Hi everyone,

 

New to the site due to a weird occurence in my 2002 Escalade. I'll be simple and to the point, and hope someone can help out or point me in the right direction.

 

For the past 2 weeks our SUV has had the heat coming from any vent, whether or not the fan is on, whether or not the temperature dial is set at 66(cold/blue) and it doesnt matter what position the fan/vent is in(feet, face, windshield defrost.

 

All of the gauges(oil, temp, battery) are showing as in the normal range. Gas mileage is the same, it runs/drives the same, have not changed the type of gas or oil. I'm trying to cover the basics here on how it is driving whether or not it is connected. I have not seen any messages in the message center in the panel.

 

I havent taken it into my local(reliable) auto shop yet as I wanted to have some information first on what it could be.

Try posting this in the fullsize section and the ask the GM Technition section if you don't get much of a response here. Much more traffic in those sections than there is here.
