Improve Milage

i have a 08 sierra with the 4.8 2wd and i just put a cst 4.5 inch lift systm and it hurt my gas milage by 1 or 2 mpg in town and by 3 or 4 on the highway.

i was wondering what i can do to get my milage back to when it was stock or close and that it

Please provide us with some more details. What size tires? What gears are you running....stuff like that. Got any pics?

runnin 285 70 17 toyo at with 3.42s picks later i also have the front airdam removed if that does anything

Well, you could use the stock tires, which would help your mileage some. Using lower gears, like 4.10s would be prudent with your existing tires, but more expensive.

Gears would make a difference, but it would take a very long time for them to pay for themselves.

Sounds like you got the wrong truck for what you did, ( small motor,tall gears, tall tires) if you lost that much raising it, think how much you would gain if you lowered it that much.
