New Outside Rearview Mirrors Blow Fuses

I already posted this question on this site somewhere, but I don't think I posted it in the right place so I apologize if this is a repeat to any of you that have seen it. I recently replaced the standard outside rearview mirrors on my 2007 nbs Sierra crew cab with the power, heated tow/camper mirrors. They worked for the first couple of minutes but then they quit working. I replaced the fuse which had blown and they worked for a few seconds and quit again. The new fuse had blown as well. What do I do to keep it from blowing any more fuses???

  Ha!! So GM Customer service, ive already been talking with someone on your email team and there is nothing they can do. So pretty consistent with everyone else’s experience- you can do NOTHING.. worthless emails. Sure glad i have 4 GM cars on our family cuz now its clear you dont care.. Sad and pathetic.
