Low Beam Won't Work On Yukon Denali.....

Recommended Posts

Ok one low beam works, the other does not. I swapped both sides with existing bulbs and the former good bulb does not work on the passenger side so that eliminates it being a bulb issue. The fuse was checked under the hood and swapped with another fuse but to no avail. The high beam and low beam relay appear to be identical so I swapped those since I have working hi beams and that did not work. I have power to the fuse, to the relay, and to the light. I also have ground to the headlight, ground to the pigtail before headlight. What's left or what am I missing here that would cause only the passenger side low beam to not work? Please Help...

Thanks

bump.....

come on, surely somebody has some suggestions.....

You're saying you have 12vdc and ground to the connector on your "bad" side and still no low beam and the bulb is good? Doesn't seem possible unless the connector is damaged or has a contact that is pushing out when you connect the bulb. Inspect the connector thoroughly for that possibility. Unfortunately I don't have access to wiring diagrams for you vehicle so maybe someone that does will chime in.

I tend to agree. If there is power and ground to the "bad" side, it is either a bad bulb or something wrong with the plug/connector. Not much else it can be.
