Retaining Factory Xm

I've searched but came up short. I just bought a new Valor double DIN DVD head unit. So far i have everytihng hooked up and working except the XM. I know that the XM module is located somewhere behind the glove box, but i can't find it. Can someone help me locate it with a picture or something. Also can i still use the factory module and antenna? will i need an adaptor? what?

The module is located behind a cross beam located behind the glove box. You cannot use the module with an aftermarket head unit. The two will not communicate. Even if the aftermarket head unit is XM ready, it won't work unless the module is built for the specific head unit. The antenna may or may not work with another module. Depends on the plug at the end of the antenna lead. If it's different, you may be out of luck.
