Stock Radio Auto Equalizer

everytime i restart my truck the auto equlizer on the radio goes back to the default - no auto equal. i would like it to stay where i set it. is there a way to do that? are they supposed to turn back to no auto equal everytime?

You probably have a short in it were it is reseting each night. Does the clock reset too? Thats what my radio did in my 98 and they should be the same radio in your 2000.

My radio does the same thing for AM and FM, but for some reason it saves the auto equailzer for the CD setting.

Do you save it with the presets?

clock does not reset. its been a long time since i listened to a cd, but i remember the same thing happening to me...not saving on am/fm, but saving for a cd.
