The Auction

I love the description:

We've seen a Double Econoline and even a stretched Suburban, but most such weld-em-and-pray projects lack sufficient axles to really make a forceful statement. Not so with this 1984 GMC van, which features four axles, an overstuffed armchair, every marker light in the JC Whitney catalog, and a sauna. Really, a sauna!

The pull behind sauna trailer kicks ass!

Wow - I don't know how you find this stuff. But, wow...

This thing made me think of a whole bunch of "you might be a redneck" jokes, though..

Seriously though, for the geeks out there: http://www.gizmodo.com and http://www.engadget.com are two of my favorites. I found this one on Gizmodo.

For there next vacation , maybe Clark Griswald could trade in that modified Country Squire station wagon of his for this rig! Beverly D'Angelo would be a sight for sore eyes in that sauna!

What do those two middle axles do when turning? I'd imagine that they get drug across the ground, and wear out very very quickly.

I am new here, so hello to everyone. I have read and learned so much already. Getting ready to put on a Magnaflow muffler in the next few days. I have the 5x11x22 muffler (not installed yet), but have been toying with getting the 5x8x24. I just don't want it to be too loud when towing.

As for the van, I don't see how it would steer. That is unless it had two turning axles. But whether it can stay on the road or not, that is one sweet van.

Keep up the great work.
