:seeya: I would like to know if anyone has a link to a good diagram :uhoh: that shows an exploded view of a 5.7L Vortec engine. I have a 1999 Yukon SLT 4WD (my baby). I lost all coolant. (We replaced the water pump prior to this new problem.) As soon as you pour water/coolant into the radiator it come out under the valve cover area. Not the valve cover. Consulted my brother, ASE Certified mechanic, who said it was a intake gasket, should take 4 hours to fix. Need diagram for repair of this as it will take too long to get mechanic here on Kenai Peninsula, Alaska to fix. Appreciate all help offered. I was told common problem usually occurs at 50-80000 miles and my baby has 163+ miles. She has been really great vehicle for me. :(
